Mill House Hotel, Swallowfield
The Mill House is set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens sitting beside the river Loddon in the Berkshire countryside, conveniently situated in the ancient village of Swallowfield, near Reading. The Georgian house was built in the nineteenth century and for over fifteen years has been run under the personal direction of Mark & Kim Pybus whose emphasis is focused on providing comfort and relaxation, fabulous food and friendly service ensuring an excellent guest experience.
After careful restoration to its former Georgian glory, keeping the original design of high ceilings and large spacious reception rooms, all guest accommodation is individually decorated and provides en suite facilities. The Mill House has become very popular with both corporate guests wanting a home from home retreat or guests with some leisure time on their hands wanting to get away from it all.
A particular feature of this fine country hotel is the food. Having gained and retained an AA rosette in 2001 the Mill House lent itself naturally to become a renowned and fashionable restaurant whose charm and character is much in evidence.
